From orthodox black tea, instant tea to flavoured teas, the entity’s bulk tea range caters to a wide market segment with its annual exports totalling approximately 4651.8 Tons.

    Browns Tea’s acquisition of Euro Asia Tea, along with the integration of its operations and resources has expanded the entity’s production capacity and sales in the international market. The new venture will focus on value added products and has assimilated the following supplementary brands; F&S, Sabro, Favor and aTea.

  • Gal Oya Plantations

    Gal Oya Plantations

    Gal Oya Plantations was founded in the year 2007 as the result of a joint venture between the Government of Sri Lanka and the consortium of private sector investors, comprising of Brown & Company PLC, as well as Lanka ORIX Leasing Company PLC. The objective of this merger was to revitalise the former Hingurana Sugar plant which was closed down for over 15 years. The current production of Gal Oya Plantations is an estimated 2000 tons of sugar, 21,500 litres of ENA and bio fertilizer daily. Additionally, the plantation generates about 2MW electricity for the usage of the factory.
